West London Centre for Counselling (WLCC)
NHS Counselling
West London Centre for Counselling (WLCC) is a BACP-accredited charity with over 30 years’ experience providing accessible, high-quality counselling to people across West London. We work in close partnership with the NHS and local organisations to deliver confidential, professional therapeutic support for individuals experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties.
WLCC offers NHS Talking Therapies counselling for adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, and life transitions. Our services are delivered for both individuals and couples, with a strong focus on early intervention, accessibility, and preventing issues from escalating.
As part of our NHS-funded work in Hammersmith & Fulham, WLCC provides free, short-term counselling for people aged 16+. We aim to ensure support is inclusive, timely, and responsive to local need.
Low-Cost Counselling Service
Alongside our NHS provision, WLCC has recently launched a Low-Cost Counselling Service to improve access to longer-term therapeutic support. This service is designed for individuals who may not be eligible for NHS support or unable to access private therapy.
The service offers:
- In-person counselling sessions at £30 per session
- Up to 24 sessions, with flexibility to extend where appropriate
- Support for issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, and life changes
- Sessions delivered by trainee counsellors, fully supported and supervised by experienced clinicians
